How to Claim
Making an application for medical and healthcare expenses to be reimbursed is a very simple process.
- Gather all your receipts. (*Please see below)
- Complete a Marram healthcare claim form. You can download a claim form here.
- Attach all of your original accounts and receipts (or insurance-certified copies) to the form. Photocopies, faxed copies and unsupported EFTPOS receipts do not qualify for reimbursement. Medical services must have been received within the last 12 months in New Zealand and must state the name of the medical practitioner, the name of the person who underwent the treatment, the date of treatment and the payment in full amount.
- Post your claim to Marram. You can get our postal address here.
- Marram reimburses directly into your bank account.
*If you have medical insurance such as Southern Cross, Tower etc, make sure you lodge your claim with your insurer first. Request that they return your original accounts and receipts (or certified copies), and include the insurer's remittance advice with your claim. Please note that Marram does not reimburse any insurance policy excess as a matter of law.
