Baxter calls for an end to Daylight Savings

Like most of my four-legged furry friends, I find the way humans play around with our circadian clocks a little confusing.

I mean it can take weeks to train our humans to deliver our food on time, and then before you know it, they throw a curveball and forget everything we’ve taught them about delivering food on time.

Seriously!

I turned up for my dinner Sunday week ago and Muzz’s like sitting on the couch pretending I don’t exist. I tell you the next night, the same thing. By now my stomach thinks my throat’s been cut.

Despite my best efforts to remind him that dinner is to be served on the dot of 5 o'clock, I eventually have to readjust to having it at 4 o'clock or 6 o'clock, depending on the time of year.

Apparently, humans observe this thing called daylight savings twice a year and it takes no account of our feeding time.  I’m not a fan. How about you?

In the interests of re-establishing some discipline around feeding time, I’m calling for a ban.

These things take time though so in the meantime, here’s a link to advice on helping your pets adjust to Daylight Savings.
