Marg loves them all
We are all extremely fortunate Marram had the foresight to set this scheme up many years ago, what a legacy!
I have many favourite places over the years, Queenstown, Akaroa and Kaiteriteri in the South, Greytown, Ohope, Mt Maunganui in the North. Our children and now our grandies, along with us, enjoyed many special holidays in these homes. They are all homes away from home.
We are spoilt for choices.
Awesome Marram, keep up the fantastic work!
Linda and Maisie stayed in the pet-friendly Kaikoura No 1 home
It was a first-time holiday for our wee Maisey. We appreciated that we could take her with us.
She loved all the walking around the bay, a great new experience for her.
We noticed the Kaikoura house has been “refreshed”, new carpet, very good heavy curtains that keep in the warmth, and loved the new shower.
The fit-out and amenities are excellent.
Many thanks Marram, for what you are providing for our holidays.
Anne loves to explore and relax
We have used many of the Marram homes over the years, both in the North and South islands.
They are always clean and well set up.
They’re great places to relax, following a day of exploring the location.
Mitch and Deb impressed by Auckland East
I just wanted to let you how impressed we were with the upgrades you've done. Firstly, the place was spotlessly clean. There were new beds and duvets, new leather couch in the lounge, new shower, new washer, new-ish blinds and curtains. It all made for a wonderful, memorable, comfortable stay. Thanks as always for the top-notch accommodation. We're really grateful to be part of the Marram family.
Angela stayed in the Napier home.
What Marram allows us to do is – have quality, accessible great locations in holiday hot spots with all the essentials. The Napier home is awesome – like a little luxury apartment. We walked around the block to an awesome playground and the beach. There’s also a bus stop on the street outside.
The kitchen is well stocked, allowing us to make picnics for a day at Splash Planet or the beach. And a full week in one place is heaven .
Thanks to Marram we had a wonderful week – love hanging out with the other families in the units. Shared stories of places to go and played Red Light/Green Light with the kids collective.
It evoked memories from when my brother and I would go to Army holiday homes with our Dad. We always hoped we could recreate it with our families. So thank you Marram.
Robin on Auckland City
I booked 12 months in advance for Marram Auckland City as my good mate was coming to the women's rugby world cup. His wife played for England. What a great location, free bus to Eden park, walking distance to the waterfront and a fantastic apartment. It was fully serviced and WiFi was available.
My UK friends were amazed at the value and organisation. We had a fantastic 2 weeks. Booking 12 months in advance is such a great feature.
Jim’s family loved Dunedin
Did our first trip to Dunedin at Easter and the Marram accommodation is 5 stars! A new build home that has everything you could possibly want. We had a 5 year old and 6 month old with us and the place was incredible.
New built and modern, the electric garage that has internal access to save the kids getting wet, the layout was fantastic and all rooms were perfect for us as family. The location is close to St. Clair beach and was quiet and easy to get to.
Well done on this instalment to the Marram homes collection! We loved it and will be back for sure
Dave had a good time in Ohakune
“We chose Ohakune and the house was perfect, great layout well-appointed and a great location only a short 10-minute walk from the township. We had a great time out riding some of the trails and eating out at the cafes, restaurants and a local Tavern.
Our week fell over the King’s birthday weekend and we had some friends join us for three days.
Ohakune is a real little piece of paradise and probably doesn’t get the praise it deserves, every local we met was friendly and helpful – a great sense of community.
Hamish loved his staycation in Wellington City
Jo and I had a stunning weekend “Staycation in Marram’s Wellington Apartment 3E last weekend. On Saturday we walked the Southern Walkway . It was an absolutely positively “can’t beat Wellington on a good day” experience . We went to “Wicked” on Saturday night which was awesome.
And then there was a bit of eating, drinking and shopping in between.
The apartment was great thanks!
Things I learnt:
- Myrtle Bakery (across the Road in Kent Terrace) does the most amazing baked goods and has good coffee!
- Restaurant 1154 (in Cuba St) does really good (and well-priced) fresh Pasta which was a great pre-Show meal.
- The Egmont St Eatery is also great (especially for a Father’s day brunch)
Angela and Greg trip to Mount Maunganui
When we first arrived, we were super impressed with the location, and the positives didn’t end there. The unit was clean and tidy, well-equipped and had all the facilities we needed. And this was on top of the home being within walking distance of the beach, Pilot Bay, the shops and restaurants, the playground, and the general ‘hub’ of the Mount. It was incredible and is a great set-up for families wanting a brief home away from home.
John loved his recent stay at Marram Taupo
“In all my stays over the years at various units across the country, I would say Annie is the best house person we have come across and we have come across some really good people. Our unit was well presented when we arrived but It is also the little thing she does, i.e. the pot plants outside, the cleaning of the steps, putting the outside furniture out on the grassed area out the back.
Once again a big thank you to Marram for keeping these units going and to people like Annie for helping make the experience that much more enjoyable.”
