Marram - Alert Level 3 & 4 refund guarantee
With lots of change and uncertainty over the last few weeks, NZ is beginning to see a move towards a more normal way of life, many are beginning to look ahead again.
For some this means the opportunity to take a much needed holiday in the near future. Marram's here to help and while there's still some uncertainty about the weeks and months ahead, will continue to support the Marram Community in any way possible. Future bookings can be made, and up to 12 months in advance.
For peace of mind, Marram's offering a 100% refund on your holiday should cancellations be required due to NZ returning to Alert Level 3, or 4 within 2 months of the start of your booking.

Alert Levels and what they mean for your Marram bookings
Following the announcement from the Prime Minister and NZ moving to Alert 2 on Wednesday 13th April at 11.59pm, Marram can update you on what's happening with the holiday homes.
Alert 2 & 1
Alert Level Two is where travel's allowed across NZ so nationwide holidays are allowed. However, even at Alert Level 2 the public is still urged to continue social distancing and avoid non-essential contact with those outside your bubble.
Marram homes will open for nationwide holidays only under Alert 2, and Alert 1.
Don’t you worry we’ll keep you updated, no doubt you’ll want to get away and book your next holiday!
If you’ve booked a holiday or have travel plans for the near future, Marram will do everything possible to support you
Alert Level 3 and 4
Should NZ move into Alert Level 3 or 4, Marram homes will close, however accommodation for emergency use and by essential services business workers will be available in your area.

Marram’s initiated a working from home policy to ensure staff are safe but while the office remains closed, you can make contact in the way you usually do.

If you have moved house, have a new phone number or changed
email addresses, you can update these details yourself. Your personal
details can be changed by logging into Marram Online, selecting MY MARRAM,
then edit where necessary. This will enable us to keep accurate details for

All the successful applicants will have 7 days to confirm their booking. The bookings that have not been confirmed by Midnight Tuesday 2nd October will be re-released back into the booking system for anyone to book on Wednesday 3rd October.
(Ballots can only be Confirmed on a Laptop or PC. If you do not have access to one of these you can email or phone us to confirm your booking)

If you have a holiday home booking and are needing the Holiday Booking details urgently, please LOGIN and go to the "MY MARRAM" section of the website and proceed to the "MY HOLIDAYS" tab. You will be able to find lockbox codes and location information in there.
Please do not click on "Resend Details" as this is creating a logjam.

Marram has a trustee vacancy to fill for a three year term. The Board of Trustees consists of at least seven
trustees, most of whom are recruited from the employees of eligible affiliated
organisations. These trustees form a key
link by representing the interests of Marram’s community of beneficiaries.

Marram (for at least the last year), have a good understanding of the
requirements of being a trustee, and have good business acumen. Applications close on 13 April 2017 with an appointment

Holiday Home Cleaning..
If you do not hire a cleaner, you are expected to thoroughly clean the home and show consideration for the next holiday makers who arrive after you.
Please remember to vacuum, mop floors, wipe tables and bench tops, scrub toilets, handbasins and showers, tidy the beds and put out rubbish on collection days.
Any problems with your Holiday Home, please contact the House Person listed on your confirmation papers.

We recommend you submit your healthcare requests every four months, to avoid the disappointment of being declined on your expenses which are bordering on the 12 month period. Any requests received for expenses incurred more than 12 months ago will not be reimbursed.

Holiday Confirmation Papers!!
Please check your holiday confirmation papers before going on holiday to confirm you have the correct dates. Check in times must not be before 2pm, Check out time must not be after 11am. This is so the cleaner/house person has enough time to clean/check the unit before the new tenants arrive.
Remember that you can always login to Marram Online to check your holiday home booking details if required.
Please be courteous to others, who will be using the home after you.

...General Dentistry expenses are not reimbursed by Marram. The Oral Surgery Benefit is reimbursed for root canal treatment and the surgical removal of impacted or unerrupted wisdom teeth. The maximum amount payable is $250.00 per tooth over a two year period.

2012 Marram Stats.!!!
We received 22,316 Requests in which we had a total of 155,776 receipts. This amounted to $4,326,601.00 being reimbursed to our contributors. Marram receives on average more than 440 Requests every week.
Our contributors and lifetimers managed to accumulate an astonishing 11,379 bookings for 2012. Which amounted to 46,517 individual nights throughout our 47 locations around New Zealand.

Queenstown Serviced Units..!!!
Due to many requests Queenstown #2 and Queenstown East #5-6-7 have been converted into serviced units.
The service fee has been included into any booking made at any of these units.
"Service" includes all linen provided, tea and coffee and a full clean at the end of your stay by the organised cleaner.

Travel Assistance Update
If you require treatment that is NOT available in your hometown, such as a specialist's appointment or a hospital admission you are eligible to Reuest assistance with travel costs as outlined below:
- expenses are paid at a flat rate of $30.00 per trip (return) whether private or public transport
- expenses paid are applicable for distances of 100 kilometres (return) or more
- confirmation of a medical appointment required
- up to a maximum of $1250 per medical condition can be requested.
