I know, it’s my birthday, but honestly, I have everything a dog could wish for.

Holidays in Marram’s fabulous pet-friendly holiday homes, a Mustang to go cruising in and a tribe of adoring humans who sing and dance at my beck and call.

But I know you’ll insist, so I’m asking you instead to spare a thought for all the animals who are sick, abused and abandoned on a daily basis in this country. 80-thousand of them end up in SPCA centres every year. Some desperately need homes, others lifesaving operations, all deserving your love.
