Marram Security

Your online security is very important to Marram.

Make sure you’re following and commenting on an authentic Marram social media account.

Please carefully check the profile of anyone replying to your post. It may be someone pretending to be Marram.  A scam.

With competitions, verify it’s Marram offering the giveaway. Prize scams may be posted on profiles that look like Marram’s but aren’t.

You can verify the competition is genuine by checking the website www.marram.co.nz where the competition will be advertised as a banner.

Watch for duplicate posts, where everyone who has commented on the post has won a prize. The duplicate replies will be a scam.

Marram prizes are free - so don't pay anything to receive your prize.

Marram may ask you to click a link in an email personally addressed to you but NEVER via social media.

If you're asked to click a link asking for additional information, especially credit card details, it's not Marram. It’s a scam.

Marram will never ask you for personal information via social media, so don’t provide it.

Marram will never ask you for money via a social media post. Financial transactions are done through the Marram website, using your email address and password to log in first, preferably using two-factor authentication.

And finally, if you haven’t already,  turn on two-factor authentication for logging onto the Marram website. It’s highly recommended for your protection.
