Celebrating International Dog Day with more pet-friendly holiday homes

How did you celebrate International Dog Day last week?

Marram marked the day by designating three more of the holiday homes – Dog Friendly!

How lucky are we to be part of that exclusive club #dogsofmarram.

I’ve been agitating on your behalf for more pet-friendly holiday homes for some time and the work to achieve this has been quietly going on behind the scenes.

To get the ‘Baxter seal of approval’ the homes must meet my exacting standards.

They must be safe and supplied with the creature comforts we deserve, like feeding and water bowls and doggy beds.

Fencing has to be erected to make the homes safe. These things take time.

But you can now add Palmerston North, Raglan and Picton to the pet-friendly list and very soon Lake Tekapo. Fencing work is underway there.

When the Lake Tekapo pet-friendly goes live there will be 18 pet-friendly homes for you to book. That means more great holiday adventures for us.
