Pimp your Ride

The rise and rise of holidaying close to home is proving a huge bonus for the #DogsofMarram and Baxter thoroughly approves.

Statistics show people are reluctant to leave us at home when they head off for a break, post-Covid. Apparently they like the security of being just an hour or two away from home and family and the ability it gives them to take the furry members with them and head home quickly if needed.

Actually this suits me just fine. Not only do I get to stay in a Marram home designated pet-friendly but I get to spend time in The Boss’s holiday car.

Yep we have a holiday car.

She’s called Sally and boy does she turn heads when we hit the road.

You guessed it. Mustang Sally.

I really love posing in the front passenger seat but when we’re on the road I’m tethered to a safety harness in the back like all dogs should be.

We always travel with my water bowl fresh bottled water, poop scoopers and snacks.

The boss keeps an eye on the temperature in the car when the weather is hot, and I have a really annoying little song I sing when it’s time for a pit stop.

Nothing beats the window down though and my ears flying in the wind but I’m not allowed, they say that’s dangerous.  Check this link, it’s got great advice on travelling safely with us.

Meanwhile to all the #DogsofMarram who have enjoyed or are about to enjoy Marram holidays, hope your destinations smell good, your adventures are plenty and your ride is as good as mine.
