Time for the King to step down

Is it really a year since I was chosen to grace the cover of the SPCA 2024 Calendar?

What an honour that was! Me, looking as cool as a cucumber on the cover, thanks to the hard work and generosity of all my fans in the Marram community.

But it’s time now for me to hand over the reigns and let someone else have a go.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could get another of the #Dogsofmarram on the cover this year?

There are two categories in the SPCA calendar competition this year, cat and dog. Yeah, I know, but it wasn’t my decision to make.

Pets of the Year is back and it’s your chance to capture your furry friend’s fabulous side and enter the picture and profile on the Pets of the Year website Then simply share the profile with your friends and family to start fundraising.

Remember last year I raised nearly $3000 to help the SPCA fund the amazing work they do keeping the animals of Aotearoa safe and well. 

And, if your pet should win the coveted title of SPCA Pet of the Year 2025, they’ll not only win the cover shot but some incredible tech from OPPO New Zealand as well.

It’s a worthy cause dear readers, and your pet will love you for supporting it.
