Busy year continues for your Community Trust

Playing catch-up after the Covid lockdown

2021’s proving quite a busy one for your Community Trust.

28 refurbishments underway and two major developments in Queenstown and Wanaka are starting to move.

The Queenstown re-development’s been waiting patiently in the wings for four years but big steps were taken recently when the Trustees all headed down for a first-hand look at the site with plans in their hands. We hope to have some exciting news on that shortly.

Meanwhile Wanaka is progressing despite encountering the usual consenting issues we read so much about in this post-lockdown building boom. The old units have been trucked up State Highway One for a new life in Fairlie and work is well underway on the site.

Property Manager Fiona Van Eyssen is also encountering supply issues as she works the stores to find beautiful decorative items, linen and furnishings for the 28 holiday homes getting a makeover this year.  However, despite having to resort to plan-B in some instances, it seems you’re loving the fresh colourful look of the refurbishments revealed so far.

Marram’s certainly a Community on the move!
