Due to rising costs and increased utilisation of certain healthcare benefits, we have made the difficult decision to no longer reimburse the items listed below. This change is necessary to help protect the long-term sustainability of healthcare benefits for all beneficiaries.
- Shingles (Herpes Zoster) vaccination.
- Medicinal cannabis and other cannabinoid-based prescription medicines (including CBD and THC products) and consultations.
- Hair loss treatments (such as Finasteride (Propecia), Oral Minoxidil and Spironolactone).
This change applies to all receipts dated 1 August 2026 or later.
